A bit slow to this one, but oh well: For what it's worth, reps should never be part of a forums game. The idea of giving out rep is you give reps to posts that you feel are worthy of a rep point in their own right, even if nobody had mentioned reps already. I'm disappointed this game has gone on so long without someone stopping that, but instead of rep points perhaps you should just offer visitor messages of congratulations or something. Rep points should be earned not by succeeding in competitions but by making amusing, intelligent or insightful posts. Not just because you got an answer right! I've stopped a few of these kind of threads beforehand with that in mind already, so I'm inclined to reword your original post and remove some of the reps earned in this thread.

EDIT: Reworded the first post, can't be arsed fixing up the reps given out just now so you're all safe from this monster. For now...
