Daniel these people AREgfiving rep because they want to. Why does it matter if it's game related?

I think the problem came from the enforcement of the rep giving rule as part of the thread. If, in the rules, it said "If you want, you can even give rep to the person that guesses your reference.", instead of having it as an actual rule for the game, I don't think there would have been a problem.

As for my guess, I guess Top Gun.
