    Default R.I.P. Ray Bradbury

BBC News - Author Ray Bradbury dies, aged 91

one of my favorite authors. I have to say however, to live to 91 is to live a pretty good life.

    That's quite a generalization.

RIP, Mr. Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451 is, and forever will be, one of my favourite books of all time.

That's pretty trout to hear Expect another one of those things where his work sees a spike in popularity now. I mean I haven't read his work yet but now I'll have to so I can feel proper sad for the loss of a great talent.

"There Will Come Soft Rains" is one of my favourite short stories ever written, and I can't imagine American literature being the same without Fahrenheit 451. R.I.P.

I need to read more of his books. I read part of "Something Wicked This Way Comes" in high school, and I read all of "Dandelion Wine". He was such a great author, and the messages of his books still ring true today.

I can remember reading "The Veldt" when I was 8 or 9 and being at once thrilled and terrified. I felt the same way about 10 years later when I read Fahrenheit 451. Even though I don't know that I actually finished it. Sad day for literature.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

RIP legend. Love Fahrenheit 451. The reason why I still read to this day.

    It was time ...
