That's pretty trout to hearExpect another one of those things where his work sees a spike in popularity now. I mean I haven't read his work yet but now I'll have to so I can feel proper sad for the loss of a great talent.
"There Will Come Soft Rains" is one of my favourite short stories ever written, and I can't imagine American literature being the same without Fahrenheit 451. R.I.P.
I need to read more of his books. I read part of "Something Wicked This Way Comes" in high school, and I read all of "Dandelion Wine". He was such a great author, and the messages of his books still ring true today.
I can remember reading "The Veldt" when I was 8 or 9 and being at once thrilled and terrified. I felt the same way about 10 years later when I read Fahrenheit 451. Even though I don't know that I actually finished it. Sad day for literature.
