The Repping conundrum

Ok then.
Now the thing is, when I look around the forum I often see posts that are clever or hilarious that don't get any rape, but then when someone like Pike posts the exact same thing but without the funny parts it gets two or three rapes.

Why?
Isn't this kind of like how some celebrities are famous simply because they are famous, not because they did anything original or insightful, but simply because they exist.
