Hello! Guten tag! Aw revoare.

It's time for the Best Avatar award. I've always found this award to be underrated (Most Underrated is a bit overrated). An avatar says a lot about the person behind it, if you know how to interpret it. Let's get right to the filling of the cake - the nominees!


As you might have suspected, Agent Proto is one of those guys. You know the type! "If I'm going to be playing a game for hours and hours, I might as well be staring at something nice!" So he chose an avatar accordingly, modelling it after himself but in a damned fancy striped suit.

See this cool virtual band? See the awesome rocker in the front? Yeah, that's not Del Murder. Del is the minotaur. In the back. With the loincloth. If you ever wondered how Del afforded that wicked ring for Miriel, I hope you didn't buy the actuary story - this is how he hauls in the big dough; he's the minotaur in a virtual band. Gotta say though, the nose ring rather makes it worth it.

Let's see our next candidate! fire_of_avalon is... well, I guess the bowtie is- um... you know what, let's just move on, I don't want to know. Good god...

By day a Gamestop employee, slaving for the man and having to serve hoards of drooling nerds. Who wouldn't need some heavy-handed anti-stress method? That's why by night, Freya becomes Herr Doktor Gehirnschenider, unlicensed neurosurgeon with a particular fondness for researching your brain. After tearing it out of your skull. Especially if you're a bossy dude or a nerdy boy who tries to hit on her.

Psychotic is our final nominee. In this picture you'll see DK, Psychotic and Iceglow. You think they're having manly fun, shouting English curses at each other? Think they're getting up to ~wacky adventures~ once more? Think again. This is their refuge, their safe haven where they can relax - take e-walks, talk about feelings, and just have a nice time without the constant pressure to come up with the next fun song parody or wacky englishman post.
