Well it was nice hanging out with you guys, but I'm afraid that now Jose Mourinho is back in the Premier League I just can't bring myself to read words about football any more. I'm going to start following another league where I can't understand any of the commentary or punditry, like Serie A or the MLS.

Chelsea were already poisoned, or rather addicted - the cult of personality he created in that dressing room meant nobody else could do the job. Jose may not be healthy for the club long term but he'll make them competitive in the short run, and more importantly the media will quote every dumb soundbyte and feed his ego because he's a Character and since Fergie and 'Arry (andSuarez?) have gone they need all the Characters they can get or else they might have to start talking about football.
OTOT sport is only really fun when you can have a seething irrational hatred for your opponents so I suppose I can't complain.
