TV Recording Software

So I will be streaming a huge Side Tournament in two weeks(EVO if that matters). There will be commentary, and all this other fun stuff. The only thing is, if internet is an issue i need a back up plan to record the matches.

I already have a video capturing device (Matrox MXO2 Mini if that helps), I just need a good, preferably free, software that i can use on my PC Laptop to record matches and upload them later in case internet is an issue. If anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate this!

I will update my Twitter when that happens. Its on my Youtube Channel if anyone cares, link in sig. Streaming hopefully with Twitch.tv

But in case it doesn't work out, i still would like a good free program to record matches on from my video capture box.
