So we have all these pretty boys and bangin' babes. Does any title of the series ever imply or reference flat-out sex? I know there are dating remarks and "oo u hav crush on him/her" kind of trout, but huh.

Don Corneo literally jumps on Aerith/Tifa/DragCloud depending on who was picked. He is obviously intending to do something naughty. He kidnaps Elena and Yuffie with the same intentions. Yuffie is 16 which makes the Don a pedophile.

I believe there's enough implication that Zack and Aerith made whoopee, Biggs and Jessie, and very likely Hojo and Lucrecia, though who really knows how he implanted her with the hellspawn of Jenova.

Nah, FF characters got only one main quest at the most 3 to 5 quests, compare that to modern RPG where character is a FedEx station.

In VI, Terra's parents basically ~love~ each other into pregnancy. It wasn't until VII when there was, like, tons of sex all over the place. Honeybee Inn, Don Corneo, Cloud+Tifa (debatable).

VIII went back to being pretty sterile, despite being a story about teenagers in love. IX has Zidane running around being ladies man, but then became a boy-meets-girl story (not criticizing). X ditto.

Word of God outright confirms that Cloud and Tifa had sex under the Highwind. It's pretty strongly implied through subtext anyway.

And yeah there are all the other references in VII and a few later titles. Previous titles were pretty oblique with their references though.

There is a lot of implied things going around. I mean FFIV pretty much defines Cecil and Rosa's relationship as "lovers" and she does have free access to his room despite him being the adoptive son of the king. Seifer and Rinoa were implied to have been hot and heavy when they were an item. Firion is pretty willing to jump into Lamia's trap as she seduces him disguised as Princess Hilda. The last one has even earned the poor guy the eternal nickname in Japan as "virgin" from what I've gathered.

VII has sex everywhere compared to other installments, and Zidane is pretty much a horn dog for most of Disc 1 of FFIX, several times trying to touch Dagger's "goodies" to both her and Steiner's dismay. Tidus and Yuna recreate Maduin and Madonna's love scene from FFVI,

Wakka and Lulu have a baby in FFX-2 so you know what they were doing between FFX and X-2, and I find it hard to believe that Balthier and Fran's relationship is simply "professional" after the game's ending and some of her commentary in Revenant Wings (*cold shiver* ooh... Revenant Wings *shudders*). So I would say it's happening, but much like going to the bathroom and regular meals, it's not something the game designers bother showing.

Come to think of it, he did find out the Empire planned on betraying and killing them because he 'pumped some information" out of her. Considering Sabin's reaction when he delicately told the party how he got it, I would argue the game is implying he was getting his freak on with the servants.

Edgar: The lady who brought us tea tipped me of to the whole crooked plot... I'd barely finished exchanging pleasantries with her when she just blurted it out!
