4. Those things that secretly really bother you, you should probably go talk to Mum & Dad about them now because in 3 years it becomes a serious issue.
5. Do at least 1 science subject for your Leaving Cert & at least 2 more honours level subjects.
6. You're going to meet a girl named Sarah, you probably shouldn't let that get past hello
7. Take more photographs of yourself & Buddy (my recently deceased dog).

I'd tell them one thing: don't go into accounting. Yes, it might seem interesting at some point, yes you can make a lot of money doing, and yes, you will be very good at it. But none of that is going to matter to you at all in 11-12 years. Save us both years of stress and a seemingly endless cycle of depression and do something you love. Feel free to suck at it and don't be afraid of being poor because it honestly can't be worse than the alternative.

A lot of people have said, "Oh, you'll meet so-and-so, don't get involved." I wouldn't do that. My major ex is someone who changed my life, and changed me. The way he treated me changed my expectations and resolve. His role in my life--even if part of it sucked--was major in shaping who I am. If I had never met him, who knows who I'd be today?

Yeah my number 6 was one of these & I agree with your accessment that without the people who brought strife into your life god knows what we'd be like today but I feel if I got to talk to 12 year old me I'd be a fool not to at least warn him

I'd manipulate myself into understanding the knowledge that I retain currently, and this would create an exponential growth in my mind, and I would be a more refined entity at the very instant that the mental injection took fluid effect in my younger self.
