Lights out!
There is a storm here and the lights keep flickering! Also my computer has shut itself off twice in a row now. I should probably stop playing with the odds and turn it off for the night. Fortunately, I'm about to go to sleep anyway.
What do you do when the power goes out?

If the power is out, that would mean the internet is out too. So depending on the time of day (or night) the power outage occurs, I'll have to end up doing something to waste the time. If it's night, I'll probably try to sleep it off.
Apparently, I have been declared banished.
Deal with it until the power comes back on because I do not have a smart phone.

(in most cases that's why the power is out where I live, and I don't like driving in crappy weather unless I have to)
It's both hilarious and depressing how helpless I feel during power outages.
That said, I was at a friend's house the last time one happened around my area (at a get-together no less), and we managed to have a bunch of fun figuring out different ways to entertain each other, including trying to come up with original games (didn't work), having each of us try doing stand up comedy (horrifying), and getting drunk as hell (totally worked).
EDIT: I just remembered the power going out while I was writing an essay. This was before Microsoft Word came up with the whole 'recovered files' thing, and I was too stupid to save it. Mood ruined.
Try to watch something on my laptop until it dies and then go to bed being freaked the smurf out because electronics help me sleep better.
If it's during the day I could just, you know, go to a coffee shop or something.

Stand outside and watch the storm LOVE doing that. and or just lay down and listen to the rain/thunder.
Usually if the power goes out for whatever reason I go for a jog. Unless I'm drunk, in which case I go for a leisurely stroll. And end up in some random part of town with no way of knowing how to get home so I have to call a taxi. Almost everyone at YellowCab SA knows me now.
