Oh what's that, I've had the English version for over a month now?

No idea why it's taking an American release so long, I've had the English version for over a month now.

It's being handled by a third party publisher instead of Nintendo, I'm sure there is a lot of legal nonsense going on that is making the delay. It's getting a limited run in the U.S. as well so it's not getting the kind of backing Nintendo usually gives.
On the other hand, I'm really ecstatic about this game, it was the title I wanted to play the most of the Big 3, and Xenoblade was amazing. So I have high hopes for The Last Story.
