If you're not taking breaks occasionally then you're not studying effectively. And if you're taking too long to cook a steak the you're really just overcooking the steak and don't deserve to eat it anyway.
But if you are taking a break, and you're not ruining a good steak, it'll be great fuel to keep the hamster alive a few hours longer without needing to snack much.
