Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker studio has taken a short break from making their serious JRPGs to release their first iOS title: Party Wave. Described as an "action surfing" game, Party Wave basically has you getting a group of surfers onto a wave, avoiding the obstacles along the way, and then riding the wave doing cool tricks and once again avoiding obstacles. Certainly not the surfing I see on the Australian beaches, but it's a nice little experiment from Mistwalker. And for a buck ninety nine, you can't go wrong with a bit of mindless entertainment with a relaxing beachy setting.
