I'll watch pretty much every type of film although lately I've been really end to watching action films. Some of my favorite action films are Die Hard movies and the Alien movies. I'm really psyched to see the Total Recall remake.

Not particularly fond of action movies or what passes for modern day horror films. Pre 1970's horror films are my favorites.

I like how in the topic post the tone goes from casual to a little strong to sinister by adding bold and then italic and then a bunch of ellipses...............

I love horror films. My favourites usually tend to be Korean, since they twist things so wonderfully. I made the mistake of watching IT when I was about 5 or 6 so I am now terrified of clowns... nevermind.

I don't get a whole lot of opportunities to let my inner man roar so I like watching action films.

They see me rolling. They hating, patrolling.
Trying to catch me riding dirty.

Action, comedy, drama... so long as it can hold my attention long enough and isn't a horror movie I'll watch it.

Mostly the first two. I also watch horrors, partly to have something I know my mom won't want to watch (she cringes at the thought), partly because horror movie are lame and I can't help pointing out the flaws in plot, character behavior, or in-movie mistakes.
On Family Guy, Jason Vorhees has a son named Justin.

Dramas are talkies... when the subject is interesting, I'll watch (i.e. mysteries, like the actual Sherlock Holmes, not the RJr flick, though I do love that as an action film).

I felt that Expendables 2 had too much talking near the beginning. It's all about pacing. They thought that since they gave us about fifteen minutes of action, they needed to then talk our ear off for that same amount of time. I was so frustrating.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

I have a fairly diverse set of tastes, but I enjoy epics, psychological horror and/or science fiction, classics, or black comedies.
