SauceThis weekend, our teams were testing the product website for the upcoming relaunch of Final Fantasy VII on PC. While the website was being tested in its live state, a small number of people were able to purchase a pre-release build of the game. For those customers, Square Enix will be offering full refunds for the purchases and for their inconvenience, a free version of the classic Final Fantasy VII on PC when it is launched.
We want to thank our community for their continued support and excitement regarding the upcoming rerelease of Final Fantasy VII. We will have more information to share about the launch of this anticipated title shortly.

Well yeah, I have a PSone emulator. But I think it'll be more fun having the achievements and maybe the controls will be adjusted for easier PC use although I somehow doubt that.
Nice one Bert! I already bought this on PSN when it had come out, but I'm hankering for some PS1 FF games, so I might get it for PC just for the novelty of it. I wonder if FF8 will get the same treatment? And despite FF9 not coming out on PC, I wonder if they'd also attempt to give it the same treatment?

Still having my save game from sixth grade in 1997 is a feat of strength. I had the old old old Eidos PC port of FFVII a while ago. I will likely buy this because I am a sucker.
