If you level your pokemon up too high sometimes they wont obey you unless you win the proper gym badges

I think this is a question regarding FFXII: Revenant Wings.

I haven't played the game, so don't really understand it at all, and I haven't found any guides that deal with this situation, so I'm not sure how accurate my information is. Are you certain there is a Summoning Gate in the level you're on?

That's about as much advice as I can draw from an internet search. Hopefully there's someone in the FFXII forum that has a better understanding of the mechanics.

EDIT: It appears I spent over 40 minutes searching for information and never came across that post.

I'm glad you asked, Robertbernard.

Rank 3 espers can only be used once a certain set of conditions are met:

1. Are you playing as Leon? If so you will need to use the crank (found in the shed outside the police station, unlocked with the rook key) on Plant 42's tentacles, so it will drop Brad's S.T.A.R.S card and the gun parts. If you're playing as Claire, you just need to get the award for 'The Cleanest Park in the Country'.

2. Go to the B1 Armoury and place your C4 in the lower left corner of the room (where the wall is a different colour) and detonate it (from a safe distance) to get to Arsenal Gear's colon. Here you'll find a vending machine. Keep using it until it stops giving you lemon lime and produces an orange soda. Give the orange soda to one of the wardens in the gatehouses around Saffron City.

3. Take the Dagger of Xian from your house and bring it to the forest at Oasis and insert it into the large tree in the middle to make Doomtrain appear. Get on the dirt bike, pick up Dr Doak and all you have to do is follow the damn train to get to Star Road where you'll recieve the Nazi Memorabilia.

4. Go to N. Sanity Beach and jump on every crab twice and collect each box to obtain the Licorice, Strawberry and Coconut jellybeans.

5. Defeat Cheese Weapon.
