I would go on and write at length about how awesome everything is, but unfortunately I can't see the freaking video at work. ;_; I won't be home for all of two hours or so! Aaaargh! Apparently it's great, though, going by the critics seemingly shutting up suddenly over on the FFXIV official forums.

Holy hot darn, those screens look good. I really, really dig the new user interface, looks very slick. Seems they imported even more elements from World of Warcraft when it comes to that, which is good, WoW had a nearly perfect UI as far as I'm concerned. (Though I'd like to add that the current UI of XIV isn't shabby either, and miles ahead of XI's.) I'm really getting hyped. Game looks gorgeous, too. Hope my laptop'll be able to run it at the best settings.
And that artwork! Really makes you wanna grab your gear and go out adventuring. That dragon-sea-creature-ish-skeleton-bridge-mountain-thingie looks great.
