Perhaps I can replace the the fail like with 'All i can do now is cry'? It rhymes, and flows with the rythm just as nicely...

Aww man... this thread got me a little emotional. Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and positive thoughts. I think it's fair to say that I would sooner be Bane's gay sex slave than see the inside of a hospital again...
Thanks to Miss Boobs for patiently awaiting my emails as they took an age to send due to my phone reception. You're a star, my dear.
Just to sum up. I went in for an appendectomy which went fine but had to go back in due to an unrelated problem. Though this wasn't spotted straight away as they thought it was related. It turns out it was a not very nice peptic ulcer but there were other issues as it wasn't reacting well to the medication. Anyway, my faith in doctors has decreased somewhat due to my experience but glad it was sorted in the end.
A lot has happened since I've been away. Here are some things I have discovered...
- A lot of members seem to have an unhealthy obsession with fish. Either that or the swear filter has been tampered with.
- I discovered that Uncle Big Hands is a lyrical genius.
- I've been waiting my whole life to see a British man win a major tennis tournament. Did I see all the drama unfold from the comfort of my home? No. A fat nurse called Mary told me when she brought my toast in the morning.
- Not all doctors get things right. In fact, they can be pretty smurfing incompetent sometimes.
- Old ladies in hospital either find it difficult to disguise their farts... or simply don't care.
- During my stay I discovered the series 'Firefly' which is just ridiculously awesome.
- Del Murder and Miriel got married which is equally awesome. Congrats guys.
- An opened loaf of bread kept in a cupboard does NOT keep fresh very long
Anyway, just want to say thanks again. I love all you guys and gals.
