In GoldenEye 007 there are two certain almost exactly identical death animations where Bond falls on his knees and drops to the floor.
I was wondering - why exactly did Rare absolutely have to use two versions of that specific animation and even use them in Perfect Dark?
Yeah sure alright, it may not be *that* much of a problem, but it really does get extremely annoying during Dark LTK attempts, when you die over and over and those damn animations play like half the time.
What gives?
Couldn't they at least speed them up a little bit so things didn't get unnecessarily tedious?

And no, I wouldn't "just think the second slowest animation was boring" if they didn't exist, because the fall-onto-his-knees sequences are the only ones that clearly last beyond the Game Over theme.
