Uhhhhhhhh how under leveled are you o.o
Sure it is. If underleveled, make use of Rikku's overdrive. Surely you'll have some items to get Trio of 9999 or some crazy buffs.
Do you mean the fight where you have to kill the boss before his overdrive gauge is full or else it's an instant Game Over? If so, I always barely manage it with Hastega on Tidus, Auron and either Wakka or Lulu and just dishing out as much damage as possible. Best use potions for quick healing since you can't afford to lose any time at all unless you do sidequests before doing this fight. Trio of 9999 isn't necessary, although a Super or Hyper Mighty Guard is certainly useful.
I managed to beat Sin under those circumstances on my first playthrough of the game. It took me a while until I learned that Armor Break worked on the thing, made it slightly easier to deal with.
I don't wanna go to the ruins, it's scary there! I am hilariously underleveled though...I really have no desire to do any of the sidequests. I just want to finish the damn game since I've had it for so long.
It took me four days to kill Yunalesca.
Thanks for encouraging me to just quit and start over!![]()
Start over and join us for the let's play ^_^
If you are playing via an emulator, well there are alternatives...
Why are you starting over ? You can defeat Sin easily if you just spent some more time on the Sphere Grid.
:/
Joining in the Let's Play is clearly the best solution!
I've effectively joined in the 'Let's Play' situation, in that I picked up where I left off with working on the monster arena sidequest and trying to max out all my characters. I swear the game knows when I'm down to catching the 10th fiend who also happens to be the last one, as that fiend NEVER shows up!
Pray to Yu Yevon. Dream, fayth. Forever and ever, grant us prosperity.
