I find it incredibly entertaining that some members mind it so horrid that they have to hide it while some are completely oblivious to its existence.

It's possible you minimized it right away and completely forgot about it! Look for two arrows on the top right corner of the main forum!

I think it may be either auto-minimised or not there at all on some of the older, slimmer skins. If we still even have those skins.
