Thread: "Jobs" with different Materia setups

This thread is to come up with ideas for people who have beaten the game to death and might want something to help them breathe new life into it. If you want the kind of advice you're after I'd suggest you consult a walkthrough.

I really like this idea, it reminds me of the FF XII job class restriction that some people did before the International version (or, if like me, bought it before International)

I've really enjoyed some of the other users' suggestions in this thread too, so thanks for those. I've decided this is gonna be my last ever run of FF7 as I find more of the game to be a chore than fun due to sheer repetition, and this has really made it a good one

I think the most amount of times I've replayed a FF game is three, and that, surprisingly, was X-2. Then again, compared to other FF it is quite short, I just don't have the willpower for a marathon game like VII. Actually, I might just reboot XII and actually attempt an enforced class challenge, might as well, the game's easy enough. Might actually make it a challenge!

Nope. Kjata does some sort of three-elemental attack, but if you notice in the Materia menu screen, it doesn't have an element under its name like Choco/Mog or Shiva. That one doesn't work.
The opposite of what you've just said.

    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

But Contain works for the Added Affect materia.
