Default Live Action Movie - long shot

I'd Totally Watch This Live-Action Final Fantasy VII Fan Film

"'Aren't you worried about Square Enix's lawyers asking you to stop?' I asked him in an e-mail. Square shut down a fanmade Chrono Trigger project back in 2010.
'I know,' he said, 'but my lady Tifa knows Hironobu Sakaguchi and when we finish the teaser we'll send it to him and we hope to be blessed; if not we'll put it on YouTube equally and fingers crossed.'
Good luck, Gionata! I hope your movie about Aeris doesn't wind up like Aeris."

    That would be pretty neat.

I don't think Hironuobu Sakaguchi has rights to it any more, so sending him a teaser isn't going to work regardless. Still, I like fan made stuff. It's pretty awesome too!

Jiro is right sakaguchi does not own any rights and he basically has moved on from the whole final fantasy series. He is actually kind of sick of people asking him about the series I saw on youtube he did a few months ago. He wants to focus on current projects but it is a nice trailer. Here is the interview The Last Story The Last Story - Hironobu Sakaguchi Q&A - YouTube

I hope they can find a more appropriately sized gun for Barret... or a more appropriately sized Barret for that gun.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

Barret did seem far too skinny, but who knows, it could work!

Something about Aeris's forehead was very offputting to me.

Think it will be hard to pull off. The action scenes will be a pain in the neck to act it out.

I absolutely loved everything about that clip. It completely brought the feeling of the game for me. I wish I could see more.

I wish that Aeris would bend over more so I could get a better look at her butt. I don't think she's going to make much money on those troutty flowers. The Boy Scouts of America probably sell more of their troutty popcorn than she does of those troutty flowers.

I agree with Jiro on Barret. The guy's huge. Mr. T kind of huge.

He should look something like this:

Here's an actual photo of Mr. T holding a gun similar to Barret's:

He was honestly the dude I imagined playing Barret, if there ever was one. But that dream has been crushed.

I think if the gun was shrunk to be more realistically size for his body type, then this guy playing Barret could very well work though! He will just have to be slower and more intimidating in his movements to give the same rough edge feel we get from the big guy himself.
