Impressions of XIII

Out of all of the "spoken" games, the voice acting in XIII was probably the best. X's acting was bearable, except Tidus and Yuna, while XII was slightly worse, seriously, what was up with Fran's Nasal sounding voice?

The voices do grow on you quite a bit after a while. Mostly, I had a problem with Vanille's voice. It sounded too....fake for me to believe. And there are certain nuances in the way they deliver the lines that don't sit well with me. Ahh, but I guess I'm weird like that. I've always been able to pick up weird stuff like that )

At first I thought Vanille's voice was just plain irritating, but then I grew numb to it after awhile and I didn't mind it anymore. But god Fran's voice is enough to drive anyone up the wall..
