By "open" I'm referring to those like the one I attended back in 2007, though I know some of the "inner" circle that know each other better have met on other occasions.

Just curious, after seeing the thread by Jessweeeeeeeeeeee (bugger me but where the hell do I stop without the name in front as a reference?! Damn do I love your name!) and considering I've not been back for all that long (relative to when I joined) I can't say as I've been able to notice what EoFF's UK user-base does with regards to IRL socialisation these days.

Does it still happen? Are they still roughly the same month (i.e. April) each year?

Well I can't see why we couldn't all go to the usual place in Birmingham next April and do the usual shizznazz. I am thoroughly useless at event organisation though, so I don't know if I'd be the one for the task, plus I don't carry as much influence around here as some others.
