I actually found it pretty fun and fighting Quale to get Quina's ultimate weapon was pretty fun too and I get a lovely 9999hp attack to help me kick his ass too. It was less tedious than grinding Thievery and Freya's Skill

I never felt I was grinding for Zidane's Thievery. I would always Steal from everything xD.

Stealing is one of the best things to do in this game anyway. If I have anyone else to melee attack then I get them to do it while Zidane loots and pillages.

I liked the frog catching game. I've only managed to fight Quale once and it was somewhat hard from what I can remember. What's special about the gold frogs again?

If you catch all the frogs in a marsh, they'll take a long time to reproduce. If you leave a male frog, a female frog and a golden frog, they'll reproduce a lot faster.

As much as I like IX, 99 frogs and Quale is the only thing I haven't done in this game yet. Got Thievery to 9999, even fought Ozma, got Ultima Weapon, but still have to do Quale. Well, my PS3 crashed so I lost all my saved date on IX. Good excuse to start a new game again sometime. Maybe I'll finally fight Quale this time around.

In all honesty, no, I haven't gotten it. It kind of slipped my mind. And if you want to get technical, I didn't get "King of Jump Rope" or stuff like that either. But really, we're talking about things worth doing here.

I actually enjoyed this mini game. But I'm like that and I swing that way.

Thievery just felt too much like grinding for me. Whereas catching the frogs was a nice little distraction every now and again. Plus it's quite fun to run around as Quina for a bit.
