    Braaaaaains The Sims 3

I'm thinking of buying this game, cos I haven't played Sims in forever. I was wondering if anyone has this game, and what they think.

If you have it, do you think I should buy it? No?

It plays like previous Sims games. It has too much content you have to buy. That is frustrating.

The Sims is a lot of fun if you've won the lottery.

Go for it. it's an incredible evolution of the series. Don't buy all of the expansions at once, though - take it slow, otherwise your wallet might suffer immensely.

You don't need the Sims 3, you have Final Fantasy XIV.

Seriously though, this will be a massive timesink. If you do go for it, remember that expansions will cost you an arm and a leg if you want to play the 'full game'.

Tbh, I don't have The Sims 3, my sister does, but I prefer The Sims 2 just cuz there's more content you don't have to buy and can just download from ModtheSims2. For that reason, it's always better to purchase any Sims games for the computer just because you can get more for your purchase.

I prefer creating buildings in Sims 3 than actually playing the game. =| This thread is making me want to create a new giant building.

The Sims 3 is pretty good [strike]but not worth buying so you should obtain it by illicit means[/strike].

    Sims 2 is better.

The Sims 3 has an open world which does influence the game by a lot. Personally, I feel I can never go back to 2 after this. Again, I'm saying "buy this game".
