FF Olympics: Gold Saucer Ho-down

Welcome to the Gold Saucer! This is where dreams come to life! Here you can compete in a couple of different events to earn the top prize. It's quite simple, but a strong performance can give your team the edge!

The events are as follows: Speed Square, Super Dunk, G-Bike and Snowboarding.

Simply post an image showing your high score and the winner of each individual event will take home the Gold Saucer's Gold Medal! You only have a week to work on your skills, so make sure you don't miss out. Get those attempts in quick smart!

Now surely you didn't think I'd just skip this event, did you?

Since I didn't know anything about Snowboarding, meaning what track to play on, whether or not to play Time Attack, I just skipped it. Instead, I focused on the other minigames.

Now that's more like it! I remember getting a score of 15000 once, but I haven't been able to locate it, so here are my humble 13500.

And then of course we have the Speed Square. As you can tell by the white text, it's not my highest score, but I feel more legit posting a score I just got rather than one I got... I don't even remember.

So there you have it. If it's possible to extend the time period for Snowboarding a little and explain a bit more what we are actually supposed to do I might go back and get some scores there.

I forgot to actually put in the details for snowboarding, my mistake! I'll give this another 24 hours in case you want to give it a shot. Basically, you just need to do the first course - the Beginner course - on the normal, non-time attack mode, and post your high score!

whatever goldenborko im on my own team. team DRAIN JOIN is all i need. not gonna beat this karifean guy at speed square cause it doesnt even smurfin work on the pc but i can at least shoot hoops like michael jordan baby

Apparently I used to love this minigame or something. Anyway, that's when I decided to not even bother but instead just show this. 99/100 points. Queen Brahne was not impressed.

Edit: Nothing like competition to motivate me to play a minigame. 'Twas the same with Jump Rope.

We're at an end to this, the first Final Fantasy Olympic Games Gold Saucer Ho-Down Challenge. It's been a slow five days of competition but we built to an exciting conclusion in one of the events, with strong performances from all two of our competitors!

I have four gold medals to give out, with unfortunately nothing to award the runners up. But let's get down to business, shall we?

In the Speed Square event, with a score of 5220 points, is Karifean of Team FFX.

In the Snowboarding event, with a score of 82 points, is Karifean of Team FFX.

In the Super Dunk event, with a score of 29 points, is DRAIN JOIN of Team DRAIN JOIN.

In the G-Bike event, with a score of 13500, is Karifean of Team FFX.

So the points are awarded as follows!

Team FFX - 30 Points
Team DRAIN JOIN - 10 Points
