I'm lucky in that the default on my Galaxy S2 is for the dictionary and thus autocorrect to be switched off which means I can type faster and more efficiently. On my htc I had auto correct on and it bugged the trout out of me. I had some messages I'd send out so garbled it'd take 2 or 3 attempts to then correct it.
