how exactly do we increase our odds? Do you draw from the people who did all the tasks every day first? And if it was only a few they automatically get posters? Then you go down to people who did every task but one day's worth? If someone does every day's tasks then they have the highest chance, right?

I won't reveal the exact details, but you increase your chances of winning by a certain percentage each day you complete the tasks. The draw will not happen until after the final day of tasks, and it will be a single draw. So someone who completes all fourteen tasks will have their original chances (ie, from applying to win) increased by fourteen times more than someone who only completes one task. Basically, you get more bits of paper with your name on it put into the hat (metaphorically speaking, because we aren't using bits of paper in a hat, we're using the mighty power of the RAND() function on Excel ).

ooohhh I get it. So right now I'm a range of 3 numbers and if I do all 14 tasks I'll be a range of 15 numbers. In that case it is conceivable I'd get 15 posters. Do you limit it so that we each get one poster then you redraw?

Don't worry, terrabaka, only 32 people have applied so far which means you're still in with a good shout! Still a long way to go, though. You will of course be able to increase your chances of winning by doing certain tasks that we'll throw out each day. Don't worry, though - they'll be fairly simple ones. Speaking of which, may as well throw out the first task! I'll try to post new tasks every day at around this time. If I don't get around to it, other staff might post on my behalf.

1. Post in the Final Fantasy I forum.
2. If you haven't posted much at EoFF before, post an introduction thread in the Wonder Square forum. If you're not new, post a reply in someone else's introduction thread.
3. Make a new post in this thread with links to the threads in which you have posted.

Every time you carry out a day's tasks, your chances of winning will increase notably, so be sure to keep checking back! Tasks should be completed within 24 hours of the time they are posted in this thread.
