It is my opinion that when I come into the opinion thread to read the new posts but I don't have any opinions to share at the moment, I should quote other posts and share my opinions on their opinions.
Mazda, however...Honda and Toyota are becoming complacent, and starting to introduce cost cutting measures at the the expense of quality construction and components. They're allowing their reputation as bullet proof and affordable cars they developed in the 80' and 90's to make them try and get away with this. They're didn't learn a lesson from Ford and GM trying this, and losing a lot of their loyal customer base.
Meanwhile, Hyundai and Kia are beginning to replace them as the new/cheap/reliable kid on the block. Also GM and Ford are beginning to put out some quality products again.
Everything goes in a circle.
Volkswagen/Audi also started the down trend a few years back, and I'm starting to see it in newer BMW's as well.
I would be inclined to agree, if I didn't feel that social pressure and the media didn't play such a big part in making them so comfortable with being stupid. If a person recognizes a problem, they are then partially responsible for that problem. So if a person realizes they're stupid, and don't try to not be stupid, then they are truly choosing to be stupid. If somebody is stupid but doesn't realize they're stupid because of how they were raised and because of the constant brainwashing they are exposed to, then can you really say that they are choosing to remain stupid? (Lol actual opinion)
