What I don't understand is why everybody seems to pass out on the ground all the time, with absolutely no concern from the rest of the party. CAN YOU REALLY TELL THAT THIS IS THE TEMPLE OF THE ANCIENTS BY LISTENING TO A BRIDGE? Jesus smurf.

The bridge spoke wisdom.... It told Aerith what she needed to know.

I assume that she could hear voices and the power was just too much so she begged down to the bridge because it was all just too much.

Cloud wouldn't give a smurf and I assume that the other party member would just follow what Cloud is doing.

It's pretty normal for Cloud to black out and hug the ground but she was on a smurfing wooden bridge. Dangerous, much?
