While I've been in the hospital they've lent me an exercise bike, and I've been trying to kickstart my work out routine and get back in shape. Before I went to the hospital in September, I was going to the gym 4 times a week. Usually when I go I run a couple of miles, then swim for an hour or two depending on my schedule. I also usually lift weights when I'm in the pool.
I'm trying to lose weight, as over the past couple years I've gained quite a bit. Do you have any suggestions for specific exercise routines that will help me lose weight (as well as tone up)?
Alternatively, what do you do when you go to the gym/work out? How has that helped you?
