There is nothing wrong with using autotune. Even when it's used to change a mediocre singer to sound on tune. Like any instrument it can be used badly, but most of the time when people complain about the use of autotune it's just elitism. I find the true power of a song is mostly in the composition, not the performance. There are thousands of people who can perform a song, but only one who can compose it, and when a brilliant composer is a mediocre performer and cant find a good performer, autotune can be a very useful tool
