My turn.
Terrence Malick made Tree of Life much, much, worse than it had to be.
Hunchback of Notre Dame is the best Disney film of the 90's, minus Pixar.
The Star Wars movies, while not bad, completely misses the point of science fiction and should not be considered to be in the same genre as Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, or other such films.
Citizen Kane is legitimately one of my favorite films.
The Hurt Locker is maybe the best film of the last five years, with The Dark Knight second and Up third.
The Social Network did not deserve Best Picture.
A Scanner Darkly is very, very, underrated.
Across The Universe is mediocre.
Despite his track record, Shymalan did wonders with The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable and he deserves as much praise for those as he deserves absolute derision for most anything.
