I decided that while OK without the wig, the costume was just not doing it without some cool tights. The tights made all of the difference, and the matching pocket watch necklace nail polish didn't hurt one bit! All in all, a really fun costume. I have two other occasions this coming week to wear it to, so it was worth the investment.

If I do bother to go trick-o-treating with my sister I will be going as a Hungry Hungry Hippo. I made modifications to my costume so now the belly is round and doesn't look like a line-backer.

Kinda bummed I can't make it in to work today because everyone was gonna dress up. Would've been fun. :/ (That and I'm losing money in the process.)

My friends and I are doing this thing called trick or treat so someone else can eat. We're asking for canned food donations rather than candy. I thought it would be cool to do this:



It's super last minute though, so I might have to resort to the ol' Boba helmet again this year.

I'm unwillingly getting dragged into it this year by my colleagues. My current plan (money and time permitting) is this with a bit of this (the Make-up, fishnets and other chequred stuff) with the token oversized card in the top-hat too.

Although I've also fallen in love with this too.

But if I don't have the time to throw it all together (or heck if it ends up being too expensive) I'll just make use of this summers attire that's been sitting in my wardrobe since September and go as this! xD

Went with the very last one in the end as not all of the rest of it got delivered in time - at least it's on hand for next year!

That face paint is awesome, Freya! I haven't really done anything for hallowe'en but that's okay 'cos I'm going to an Alice in Wonderland party this weekend, and I am going to be the caterpillar. My costume idea is thus: 1 sleeping bag + 2 pairs of tights and gloves & some string = hey presto, caterpillar! But I haven't quite started making it yet..
