Texas Hold 'Em. Also a fan of Omaha Hold 'Em.
I play a bit of microstakes hold 'em now and then. Didn't play for like a year though but I'm getting into it again and reading some books.
Biggest win was luckboxing a sit N go for £11, heh.
I was a terrible poker player but I'm starting again at the basics
I barely play, but fun story.
A friend and I hit the black jack tables at a casino in Biloxi, Missippi a few nights a week over the course of 2 and a half months. We were in town for some training.
It was his money that we started with, so he decided what to do with it. We managed to clear 2-3k in that time, and he decided that the last weekend we were in school together we were going to get destroyed in New Orleans for the weekend.
I don't remember a ton of that weekend, but I do know what it feels like to buy a fairly full bar a few rounds of shots. Hell breaks loose.
I had a (dim) friend who once hit the £70 jackpot on two seperate bandits, then proceeded to buy everyone a drink and...put all the money back into the machine 'to win more'. Obviously, he didn't. I'd never seen a grown man cry before that night.
Sports betting is where it's at (apart from certain crazy North American nations with utterly bizarre gambling laws), I find myself having a flutter on the Premier League most weeks, or the horse racing if there's a big event on. I've had a few wins this season, nothing huge though.

I've never gambled in my life. I have terrible luck, so I probably wouldn't win anything anyway.
I love playing poker, and play in a weekly Hold 'em game here. The most I've ever won at one time was probably about $80.
On the couple of occasions I've been to a casino, I played blackjack. The first time I won $50.
I'm not being judgmental when I say this, fyi. It's just my opinion: I don't really agree with gambling or what it stands for.

At the Casino closest to me, when I lived in the U.S., I would usually play Sic-Bo. It's not glamorous, but the house edge is not so bad compared to other games, and I could never be bothered to learn how to play Craps, though I keep telling myself I will someday. I think the most I won was about $85.
In a casino in the Bahamas though, I saw some dude hit a $90,000 jackpot on slots. Was insane.
I once won like 315 nickels in Vegas. It was a great day. On another trip to Vegas, we made a potty stop at State Line and BJ popped a quarter in a slot machine as we walked by, winning like $80.
The last few times we went to Vegas we played $5 blackjack. We usually come out ahead and then go to a nice dinner.
I won $35 this past weekend playing poker.
It's all about the accumulators. That's the only thing I've really done on the odd occasion. Never won any serious money.
I usually have a flutter on the Grand National. Put a couple of each way bets on in 2011 and got the horses that came 2nd and 3rd. Ended up (between winnings and free bets) ahead by £40. I put £10 on Everton to win four of their remaining fixtures (which they did all four!) which paid for my dad and myself to go to our final game of the season (Carlo Ancelotti's final Chelsea game) and have a good weekend in Liverpool.
I ran across the street without looking both ways.
Went back (stupid) but won another 500.
