Interestingly, they're both parts of one love story. Remember that Squall is Laguna's kid, and Rinoa is Julia's. Laguna and Julia's love came to fruition through their offspring. How romantic and trout.

I agree and disagree in some ways on your opinion of the characters, but my opinion doesn't really matter and more honestly, I'm just too lazy to type it up now.
