    Default Wreck-It Ralph

I just went to see this film; I enjoyed it and I believe it deserves the praise it's getting. It was sweet and funny, especially as a gamer. However, it's best aspect is the video game references, with the coolest being a Final Fantasy VII one.

    Click:(SPOILER)

I freaked out when I saw that.

So, who's seen it and what did you think?

Holy cow, there's an FF reference?

I will watch this movie eventually. I used to watch every canon Disney film released, but my significant other doesn't like them.
    I like Kung-Fu.

the theater we went to see it at had a mini arcade set up in the lobby. two people in my party managed to get the high scores on Pac Man and Super Mario Bros!

A lot of people also played the cabinet set up with Fixit Felix Jr., but Donkey Kong got no love...

Won't be in theaters here until March. I like how they chose canon spelling as opposed to the fan preference.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

I'm really looking forward to watching this movie once I get the chance.

Here's some interesting bits of trivia for you: Zangief isn't actually a bad guy in the Street Fighter series. One of the producers in the movie really didn't like Zangief as a CPU opponent back in the day, finding him cheap and irritating, so as a result he viewed him as a bad guy, and to reflect that made him one in the movie. Similarly, Smoke and Cyrax from Mortal Kombat aren't bad guys either (well, Smoke is only a bad guy in MK3 and MKeception, where he's unwillingly mind-controlled in both games, and Cyrax is in a similar boat in MK3 and MK9), yet they both show up in the Bad Guys Anonymous club.

The various companies whose bad guys were used in the Bad Guys Anonymous club kept wanting changes to be done in regards to how they depicted their characters. They wanted their villain characters to be increased in size to reflect their actual size in their games. Eventually, it came to the point where Ralph was a midget in a room full of giants.

Mario was meant to cameo in Wreck It Ralph, but they couldn't really find a way to have him cameo so that his cameo would be major enough to pay respect to him, yet wouldn't majorly impact the story. They are wanting to ensure he has a cameo for a potential sequel.

Saw the movie Thursday night. LOVED IT. I totally didn't notice that FFVII reference, though. That's pretty awesome. :O

I just got around to watching it. It was actually very heartwarming, so I thoroughly enjoyed it very much. I also liked the opening cartoon, Paper Man. That was cute.

Apparently, I have been declared banished.

I loved everything about this movie except for the fact that I was the only one in the entire theater laughing at most of the references.

Oh wow. Didn't really expected it to be such a tear-jerker. Tears all the way through. The start, middle and end. Gosh damn it Disney. Why do you always have to be so sad ?
