AWARDS
Most epic match of the tournament:
Psychotic v Faris. This one went the distance!
Most exciting match of the tournament:
Jiro v Jowy A quick and brutal back-and-forth contest.
Best Match
Aerith's Knight v Rantz It's a shame that the elemental rule blagged Dennis.
Worst Match:
Quin v Loony BoB I hate BoB and Quin's defensive style.
Move of the Tournament:
Rantz's incredible combo on Jiro sees him go from 4-6 down to 7-3 up!
Best Comeback
Ultima Shadow pulling it off against Rantz. You're 3-7 down in the final with just two cards left to play... you panic, right? Not if your name is Ultima Shadow!
The D'oh! Award
Faris could've used the Plus rule to draw in her match with Raistlin.
The "Was that really so difficult?" Award
Goldenboko v Red Mage Coffman
(This was their second attempt... Goldenboko won a similar award in Firaga)
The Tidus "Do you even exist?" Award
Red Mage Coffman. No record of any game of his exists. WHAT IS GOING ON.
The Brute Force Award
Check out my match with Shauna. It was woeful xD No special captures were used and it was just a card being captured every round!
The "Screw you guys, I'm going home" Award
Aerith's Knight. Incidentally, everybody bet on Vivi22 or Raistlin to win this award.
Best Country
Sweden
The Firaga Tournament is going to be no holds barred! Anything goes, and the elite players will come together in this clash. What's more, it'll be a little different in format, too. Everyone will play more than one match.

FINAL
(SPOILER)ULTIMA SHADOW, aka the Swedish Dreamboat vs JIRO, aka the Australian Disco Diva!
Both these two fine stallions have had a difficult road to the finals, both losing matches to fellow countrymen in the group stage. Ultima Shadow started off with a shock loss to Rantz which saw him bottom of the Moogle group, but turned on the style with a fine victory over Mirage and then putting Quin to the sword. He was then on tenterhooks for the outcome between Rantz and Quin until it was declared a tie. He then successfully staved off WildRaubtier and broke his 100% win record to march into the final.
Jiro, meanwhile, steamed ahead in Tonberry, putting Loony BoB down right away. He then suffered a blow at the hands of Wild Raubtier, but managed to utterly destroy Jowy 8-2 to qualify as best runner up. Like Shadow, he too faced an opponent who had not yet lost, Citizen Bleys, in the semi-finals. And like Shadow, he managed to emerge victorious.
So, what are they fighting for? I'll tell you what. EoFF's first ever Level 10 Triple Triad card. Oh yes. 2,025 gil will also be awarded to the man who comes out on top. There will be a reward for the runner up too, as he will receive a Level 9 card and 1,025 gil!
Meanwhile, in our third place playoff, CITIZEN BLEYS will take on WILDRAUBTIER.
WildRaubtier has expressed a desire to have nothing more to do with this thread. Will the third place prize, a Level 8 Card and 525 gil, be enough to tempt him into battle against the wily Canadian?
