The rest of the Maritimes seems to look pretty good compared to my province apparently. I knew unemployment was bad here, but didn't realize it was that bad, and that much worse than the rest of the Maritimes. 2% is quite a difference.

It isn't that cold right now
Not by my standards, but other people seem to start complaining as soon as things dip below 0 degrees. Meanwhile I still walk around in t-shirts and leave my coat unzipped.It isn't that cold right now
To be fair, it is probably my neck of the woods that gives it such a high rate. Northern New Brunswick is pretty troutty in that sense. I actually get cold pretty easily now but it's not really that bad.
I remember we used to get blizzards at this time of the year though.......hasn't happened for a while.
