The irony. Jealousy on our part for not being as well known as Sabin.

Anyone got any idea how to pronounce Sabin's name? I've been saying "Say-bin", but what if it's "Suh-been" or "Sabbin"?

Goodness knows with Square- Enix and how they pronounce names. Who knew that Tifa was Tee-fa, Tidus was Teedus and Zidane is Zid-Dawn.

Sabin is most likely to be " See- Bin " knowing them.

Say-bin or Sah-bin; either way he's still awesome.

Sah-bee-n I believe is the correct way to pronounce it. I say Sah-bin though.

I imagine that would require his name to be Sabine tbh

That would be Sah-bee-neh, if we're considering the 'correct' pronunciation to be the way Japanese people would pronounce it. In Romaji, the letter I is pronounced as a hard E. Tidus = Tee-dus, Tifa = Tee-fah, Jiro = Jee-row, Romaji = Row-mah-jee, etc.

But having just looked at Sabin's page on the FF wiki, his name isn't even Sabin in the Japanese version. So this is all irrelevant I guess. XD

I pronounce it "Sa (like saying 'sad') bin (like 'recycling bin')" because I like to think that Sabin calls his cabin "Sabin's Cabin."
