Define strength. Last I checked, Edgar was most definitely weaker than Sabin.

No idea what Goku, Cloud and Zack have to do with Final Fantasy VI.
I've always gotten more damage out of edgar than sabin. I suppose if you got rid of the tools, then yes he would be.
