Why does the ghost face the wrong direction?



This has ALWAYS bothered me. It's possible Im just not looking at the sprite correctly

Similar to how I always thought this was a guy with a big blue had covered in a blanket.

This is what I see when I look at the sprite. No matter how hard I look at it, I cannot see it in any other way or how the opening post described.
