Since Shorty, Jowy, and I are seriously de-railing the EoFF Mix Tape thread...

Talk about how much you LOVE this album!

I'd heard several songs from it disjointed, but the first time I sat down by myself with no distractions and listened to the album from beginning to end, I literally wept. (Yes, I was high.)

It has some of the most beautiful lines. My favourites are

and I have plans for a tattoo of

fun facts for Holland, 1945!

"she's a little boy in Spain playing pianos filled with flames" is a reference to Pepito Arriola who was thought to have been a reincarnated soul because his musical talent was beyond comprehensible at his age, also eluding to the fact that Anne may reincarnated herself.

"all when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes" is a reference to The White Rose movement.

Love this album so much and this song seriously haunted me for a long time after I started shredding it apart for references and reading about the war and stuff.
