FFO died earlier this year, I think. They may have gotten hacked. The site was plagued with malware toward the end.

I never visited much (can't say I visited at all in at least five years, actually), and never did manage to figure out why some people hated it so much, apart from the owner apparently being a pretty big dick.

Given the massive improvement in the environment around here, I feel like a newbie sometimes.

Honestly, the last year or two have been the first time this place has had a similar atmosphere to the atmosphere it had when I was a newbie that I can remember since about 2003. In fact, the atmosphere might even be better now - it's quite possible my perceptions of 2002-2003 are just tinted by a nostalgia filter.
