While EoFF’s rep system has a lot of potential uses, it typically only serves one purpose in practice. It can be used to reward intelligent, insightful, and meaningful posts. Of course, no one actually uses it like that on EoFF.

Some people have taken the rep system for their own purposes. Pike reps everything MILF posts in EoEO. Jiro and PG rep every post that mentions their name. Tifa’s Boobs reps everything that mentions boobs.

But most people use rep as EoFF’s version of the Facebook “like” function, as a symbol of being amused. Therefore, the rep a member has earned can be a good indicator of just how funny they are to EoFF’s population (thanks to Rantz for the stats).

So what do the stats show?

Del Murder: He made over 2,000 posts in the previous six months, but only 23 of them contained more than one sentence. His 6.5% may seem... well, pathetic, but his rep-per-line is much better.

DK: With a whopping 28.4% rep rate, DK by far leads EoFF’s active posters. Though half of that rep came from just two posts.

For the record, DK’s rep rate makes him approximately 4.4 times as funny Del. The numbers don’t lie.

Flying Mullet: Yikes, another high one at 19.6%! The crotchety old monkey is a full 3 times as funny as Del.

krissy: His typing has improved, allowing us to actually understand his jokes. His 14.3% rep rate makes him 2.2 times as funny as Del.

Madonna: His always entertaining images and amusing banter have given Lynx (I refuse to call him by his semi-annual new name) a rep rate of 15.2%. He is 2.3 times as funny as Del.

Old Manus: Old Manus is like the grouchier version of Del, posting largely in one-liners. He’s also way funnier; in fact, his 17.0% rep rate makes him 2.6 times as funny as Del.

Psychotic: Psychotic’s rep rate is a respectable 13.5%, especially with his post count higher than everyone but Del on this list, but almost all of his 224 rep points in the last six months have come from making fun of Iceglow. Talk about only going for the low hanging fruit. He is still just over 2 times as funny as Del.

Rantz: Is close to Psy in both post count and rep rate ar 13.4%, and in fact much of his rep has also come at the expense of having one person as the butt of the joke: Shorty (see what I did there?). No matter if you think he’s more or less funny than Psy, the numbers show that Rantz is also 2 times as funny as Del.

Sephex: His knack for not taking any thread too seriously and posting tangential one-liners and images have netted the active poster a rep rate of 12.6%. That may seem low for this list, but he’s still just under twice as funny as Del.

Man, that Del character must not be very funny; can you imagine only being half as funny as Psychotic? How did he even make this list?

Empirical science has clearly demonstrated that DK is far and away the funniest poster on EoFF, but who will the voters pick?

For the record, the member with the highest rep rate who did not make this list was Cuch, who reached 22.2%
