Firstly, I won't count this in my list since it's a medley but medley medley medli (also go listen to everything else that guy has done especially this which gave me multiple raging hard-ons)

also I really really like Freezeezy Peak a lot a lot a lot but I'm not sure if it counts as a "Christmas song" (banjo-kazooie music is smurfing amazing and also gives me multiple raging hard-ons)

but anyway (enough about my erections)

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York (happy christmas your arse, i pray god it's our last)
Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song (only this version there is no other version and if you say otherwise you are ruining Christmas for everyone)
Berlin Symphony Orchestra - Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy (Red Baron Remix) (check out the albums "Christmas Remixed" and "Christmas Remixed 2" for more if you like this. use the googles, easy to find)
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - Russian Dance Trepak (yeah nutcracker is on this list twice get over yourself)
I find Mariah Carey kind of attractive so that might provide some bias - All I Want For Christmas Is You (I fell in love again watching this video)

Band-Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas is a song that just got beaten out by Mariah Carey being smurfing adorable seriously go watch that video and let me know if you don't fall in love

You're all very wrong. The best Christmas music is traditional Christmas music and not romantic Christmas music. And if you think otherwise then you're just bad.

Anyway, Nat King Cole has a voice that sails but isn't full of ostentatious ornamentation. It's just simple and beautiful. My only wish is that it were the full song with all three verses.

You don't have to be religious to like gospel music - you just have to like to get told how it is every once in a while. Also this rendition has a little blues flavor. Gospel and blues are like two sides of a coin. Which means awesome.

Mostly it's my favorite because the vocals and harmony are amazingly amazing, but the songs also tell the story of hope in the birth of Jesus. I'm not religious, but the Christ story is a good one.
