I'm still trying to figure out how to redirect my income. Ultimately I think I'll throw it into RSPs to get a refund, because out of all of the ways I know (as in pre-knowledge) of what I will get back, getting a tax refund on tax sheltered investments is still the highest.
Which I will then use to buy commodities.

I like getting the refund better. I think I end up saving more money that way, because I have less throughout the year, and when I get a big chunk of it I dump half of it in savings.Originally Posted by rubah
Set up direct deposit to automatically deposit what you would be having deducted in extra tax into that savings account. Earn an extra 3¢ per annum!
Finally found the stock rims for my car. Hopefully with my tax refund, I can get them sandblasted, powder-coated, and put some new tires on them for the Spring.
