 Actually, it's an eminently sensible move on Rantz's part -- by voting opposite his team, he's guaranteeing that Team Rantz gains at least one point this game, which precludes Team Jiro from getting a 4 point lead and ending the game early.  Worst case scenario for Team Rantz is that I'm lying and all 3 members of Team Jiro pick lie, which results in a 3 point lead--thus Rantz can go for perfect play in Rounds 4 and 5 and win in Sudden Death.  If I'm telling the truth, it's still anyone's game.
It looks like at least one team did opt for a team strategy
